Practicing yoga from an early age instills an abundance of qualities in children, which they will inherently cherish as they grow.
Inspired by Dr Howard Gardener's theory of multiple intelligences, Joyful Hearts yoga classes are designed to stimulate and nurture the whole child (body, mind and spirit) whilst creating a sense of connection to the world around them.
Children are encouraged to perform age appropriate yoga poses with reverence for the animal or element they are portraying, which presents an opportunity for them to develop values such as empathy, respect and kindness through a greater understanding of nature.
